The Fate City Council encourages all citizens to consider becoming actively involved in City government by serving on a City Board or Commission.
Applications are being accepted for the following board and commission vacancies:
• Capital Impact Advisory committee – One (1) Ad-hoc member
• Fate Municipal Development District No. 1 – Three (3) members
• Parks and Recreation Advisory Board – Four (4) members
• Planning and Zoning Commission – Four (4) members
• Zoning Board of Adjustment – Four (4) members
Applications may be submitted online at www.CityofFate.com/BoardApplication. Completed applications must be received by the City Secretary’s Office by 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021.
Applicant interviews will be recorded and provided to the City Council for consideration of appointment. Appointments will be made by the City Council in open session at the City Council Meeting being held Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Fate City Hall. Those applicants not appointed will be considered for future assignments as vacancies occur. Applications will remain on file for one year.
