Special Events

The City of Fate Ordinance requires a Special Event Permit for any event with over 75 participants located wholly or partially on the city's rights-of-way, public property, or private property which may cause an interruption of regular activities and involves one or more of the following activities:

  1. Closing a public street
  2.  Blocking or restricting access to public property and streets;
  3. Sales of merchandise, food or beverages 
  4. Sale of alcoholic beverages
  5. Erecting a tent or canopy on public property, or on private property
  6. Installing a stage, band shell, van, trailer, portable building, grandstand or bleachers
  7. Placing portable toilets on public property, or on private property 
  8. Hosting a fireworks display

Special Event Applications and Questionnaire must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the start date of the event.
