Volunteer Fire Department

The Fate Volunteer Fire Department is a twenty-eight (28) member fire department. Established in 1950, by a group of concerned citizens, to provide protection for themselves and their neighbors. An all-volunteer department that provides service to 42 square miles In Rockwall County, and the City of Fate. It has operated as a volunteer organization for fifty three (53) years.

We provide fire protection and community service to the citizens of the City of Fate and Rockwall County. We have inter-local aide agreements with Rockwall, Heath, Royse City and McClendon Chislom ,and with Rockwall County to assist and provide fire Protection and Rescue service to the unincorporated areas of Rockwall County.

Our Goal is to grow and increase our level of service to our Citizens and the Citizens of Rockwall County, as it continues to grow at a rapid pace. We hold Training Drills on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of each month. At seven (7) pm. You are welcome to attend one of these meetings and meet these fine young men and women who provide these services to our community.
